What information does this site collect about me?

Counseling for Pastors is a static website with no third-party tracking scripts. The contact and resource forms on the site are currently clearly-marked placeholders that are not yet wired to collect or deliver data. When they are wired, they will collect only what you choose to send, used to respond to you. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect, and what the forms currently do

The site itself loads no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts and sets no tracking cookies. Like any website, the host that serves these pages may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. Importantly, the contact and resource forms on this site are currently clearly-marked placeholders: until the operator wires them to a real, secure handler, they do not collect, store, transmit, or deliver any information you type, and submitting them does nothing. We mention this plainly so you are never under the impression that you are sending sensitive personal information into a system that is not yet active.

When the forms are wired in the future, they will collect only what you voluntarily provide, such as your name, contact details, and a brief description of how we can help, and that information will be used solely to respond to your request and, where appropriate, to point you toward confidential, professional, faith-aware care. Given the sensitive nature of what visitors to this site may share, any such system will be handled with care for your privacy, and this notice will be updated to reflect exactly how it works.

Confidentiality, third parties, and your choices

We understand that people who come to this site may be carrying very private burdens, and we take that seriously. We do not sell your personal information, and we would share it only as needed to act on a request you make, such as helping connect you with appropriate care. If we ever add a directory or referral feature, or connect you with a counselor or ministry partner, those parties operate independently under their own privacy practices and professional confidentiality, which you should review with them directly. A licensed counselor, separately, is bound by strict professional confidentiality.

You can read and use this entire site without providing any personal information at all. You only share details if you choose to, and once the forms are active you may ask us to delete information you submitted. Because we set no tracking cookies and run no accounts, the only information we would ever have about you is what you deliberately chose to send. If protecting your privacy is a particular concern, our guide to finding a confidential, faith-aware counselor also explains how to seek care discreetly, including outside your community and by telehealth.

Finding help, when you are ready

This site is an information resource, not a counseling provider or crisis line. Each option below points you toward confidential, professional, faith-aware care. Forms and any directory use a clearly-marked placeholder until the operator wires them to a real system. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about suicide, call 911, or call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
